How do u get away from these people and all there fees. If u select one of the many other energy company's available in my town of coventry nyseg still nails u with fees and a line service charge that costs as much as the electricity u use plus u pay for electricity that u use so if u use $50 in electric nyseg charges u $45 to 50 for using there lines.

Change back to nyseg cause as there customer u didn't pay the line fee but last year at some point that changed so now I'm paying nyseg for electricity and to use there lines this is a load of ***. Nyseg is owned by a foreign company I believe out a Spain which is wrong. I thought new York stepped in to break up the nyseg monopoly of the twin tier region but as I see it it's worse then ever cause u still can't get away from nyseg even if u pick another service provider u still pay nyseg for line use and pay at nyseg office seems very fishy to me . I think there should be more regulation on this company and there billing I also think more towns should step up like Greene NY did and offer there own energy services and work on putting this corporation out a business.

If I could afford it I'd go full solar and make them pay me and I suggest to others to do the same this company is cold hearted and have killed people by shutting off electric to elderly people's homes in middle of winter and leaving them to freeze.

They have no morals at all and seem to charge u whatever they feel like and every year it seems like there is some new thing there charging u for but year there constantly laying people off and cutting back jobs and there service still isn't any faster if ur electric goes out . Where is all that money going I wonder

Reason of review: Pricing issue.
